I started this brand while being at Fort Hays. My cousin has a brand and inspired me to make one. My uncle also has a brand. I sat in my room for hours coming up with ideas.
First I came up with the brand name SRD. After that, I went to making the logo. I remember sending it to everyone and seeing what they thought about it. After the logo, I made my first design.
I never thought I'd have a brand. It's amazing. Even though it is a long process, I know it'll be worth it in the long run.
My uncle made me my first sample and I will forever hold onto that piece. It means everything. It was the start of something.
The meaning
SRD stands for Something Rare and Different.
Starting this brand I knew there were a lot of people who wanted to create one.
I had to find a way to make my clothing pieces and brand itself different.
